Anything earmarked for the freezer should ideally be shrink-wrapped and clearly labelled with the contents and date. Meats to be used the next day should be re-wrapped and stored in the refrigerator in a drip proof container so that raw juices can not drip onto other fresh foods, such as vegetables and fruit.
